Council Workshops
These are held for the purpose of educating and training Members of Council and can be held in closed or open session.
Special Council Meetings
The agenda for a Special Council meeting will specify the purpose of the meeting which will be the only business conducted at that meeting.
Advisory Committee Meetings
These are meetings for the Town’s Advisory Committees and are usually held virtually or in a meeting room at Town Hall. These meetings include the appointed Council Members and members of the public who have been appointed as members to the Committee for this term.
Strategic Committee Meetings
These meetings are for the Town’s two special committees of Council which provide a forum for in-depth discussion on options and/or direction on potential Strategic Plan implementation projects. These committees consist of staff and appointed members of Council.

The Town is developing a Green Infrastructure Asset Management Plan (GIAMP) to help protect, maintain and enhance green assets such as trees and natural areas for the long term. Green assets provide essential and valued services including flood control, air quality improvement, outdoor recreation opportunities, and climate resilience.
This Open House will include a presentation at 7 p.m. that will provide an overview of the Town’s green assets, describe the services they provide, and outline management strategies the Town is considering to help sustain and enhance these assets in a context of growth and climate change.
