Discover the journey of Canadian artist Florence Helena McGillivray (1864 - 1938), who was best known for her post-impressionist style capturing the Canadian landscape. With loans from notable private and public collections, this exhibition explores the influences Florence had as an artist, teacher and traveler during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This show is co-curated by researcher and author Bill Allen, who recently published his third book about the artist. Join us for an exhibition opening reception and book launch on March 2, from 3-5pm in the Helson Gallery to speak to the curators. All are welcome to attend.
