The purpose of Draft Official Plan Amendment No. 59 is to establish a Secondary Plan thatwill guide land use and future development in Southeast Georgetown. Using the Councilendorsed Preferred Land Use Plan, the Southeast Georgetown Secondary Plan willimplement policies, objectives and guidelines intended to result in a new residentialcommunity that is well designed, attractive and respects the adjacent natural heritagefeatures and cultural heritage resources while integrating well with the surrounding community.
